Permanent Residents living in Canada

You may apply to become a citizen of Canada if: you are a Canadian permanent resident 18 years of age or older, you have lived in Canada as a permanent resident in the six years prior to your application, you must have filed your income tax returns with CRA for at least four out of those six years, you declare your intention to live in Canada, you meet the English or French language proficiency criteria, you demonstrate sufficient knowledge of Canada. 

CHILDREN BORN OUTSIDE OF CANADA

You may qualify for Canadian citizenship if you were born outside of Canada to a Canadian citizen parent. Also, as a Canadian citizen parent, you may apply for Canadian citizenship for your adopted child born outside of Canada. Contact us for assessment of your eligibility.
